So, Thursday at the Sham'o'crete Bawbee pinged his kingpin. Being the Gaffer that I am, I fixed it. Had to take the KP out of the red baseplate that Poulet snapped in the summer, then hammered it into Bawbee's. Sorted.

Replaced the pivot cup to despite "there's nowt wrong with it..."

Was part of a four man CR250M team, all in the pre-74 class. This was the first race winner. Guy told me, some geezer had 3 of them and put a team together. Bloke riding thissun was invited to join team, 'cos he's a bit quick. Sounded so crisp, £6k's worth mind...

Pretty RM125 up for sale, dunno how much. Sorta half restored, reasonably clean but poor paint job. For my money, they gotta look factory fresh or proper used. Anything between seems half hearted.

This made me laff, C50/Junior MX hybrid, fabulous in its pointlesness, even got the red bull can on the susp unit remote reservoir. I want one.

'cos I'm fickle, and a dreamer, I'm over the CR250M, S'all about the YZ250G...

So, Lostchilds and Me drove to Brighton today to move house. Didn't realise it was Pride 2009 until we got there. Looked like lots of fun, chatted to passers by as we were loading the van, everybody was having a great time, shame the weather wasn't better.

Didn't take any photo's so I snagged this pic of a pretty young thing dressed as a flouro lobster from flikr.

I have no idea why.

Might have to go next year and check it out properly.
